“Your brand is what other people say about you when you're not in the room.”
I had a call last week with a corporate consultant friend who’s just … DONE.
Done giving away free advice. Done undercharging. Done defending her price on every call. Done watching less experienced people land clients.
So, I offered to take a look at her website to see why prospects aren’t converting.
It was definitely sending a very strong message …
… “Bargain-Basement Newbie.”
[ Not literally. But it said it. ]
The layout, colors, fonts, requisite stock photo of a woman on a laptop, content that could swap places with (literally) any other “business coach.” All of it.
My friend’s reputation, knowledge, and results justify her $15k price tag. No question.
But I could immediately see why price was a losing battle.

Here’s the thing …
The VALUE of your business isn’t decided by you.
A prospect visits your website, and in about 5 seconds, their brain has already decided what your product or service is worth.
By the time you’re on a call and say “$15,000” out loud, you’re either confirming what they felt … or fighting against the low-ball number they had in their mind.
You will never “convince” your way around someone’s first impression.

AI tools have made “professional” cheap, like the lowest rung on a brand-building ladder. Perfect for a first draft, rough sketch, or brainstorming partner.
But not when it comes to high-ticket. “Professional” doesn’t cut it anymore.
What premium clients are looking for, even if they can’t articulate it, is specific, credible expertise.
Does this look and sound like a business with real, human experience behind it?
Can I immediately tell that this is the answer to my very specific (and very painful) problem?
Could I see myself working with this team, getting actual results, and not wasting my time or money again?
“Polished” buys you a few seconds. Specificity closes the value gap.
And that is what earns you the $15,000 project.

So, I told my consultant friend the same thing I’m telling you now:
You probably don’t have a pricing problem. You have a brand perception problem.
The good news? It’s totally fixable. But you have to be willing to SEE the gap before you can close it.
Make it a great week! 🙌

PS — My consultant friend? … Yeah, she’s getting a brand makeover. 😉 WAY cheaper than staying stuck. Book your audit and see where you stand.
