Think Tiny

How micro-moves lead to macro results.

"Small things done consistently create big results."

Robin Sharma

When I turned 35, I made a bold commitment: daily workouts.

I wasn’t aiming to become an Ironman overnight. I just wanted to prove to myself that I could show up for my long-term health and wellbeing.

Inspiring, right?

The reality was more like torture.

I was out of breath. Everything hurt. Waking up at 5:30 was hideous.

That’s when I discovered “MVAs” to keep myself going: Minimum Viable Actions.

Not really sure where I first heard the term, but I knew I needed something to prevent myself from quitting.

So, instead of grand plans, I focused on the tiniest steps that could still be considered progress:

→ 15 minutes of cardio
→ 10 minutes of yoga
→ 1 tap of the snooze button (instead of 7)

And over time, those micro-moments added up. The workouts got easier and my mindset shifted. Some days, I actually caught myself looking forward to my pre-dawn alarm.

[ Let’s be real though … 5:30 is still brutal. 😝 ]

Here’s the work-week connection:

Growing a business is rarely giant leaps and overnight wins. Growth is in the steady drip of small, consistent actions — tiny adjustments that compound over time.

Whether it’s refining your follow-up process or tweaking your offer so it’s more concise, little steps lead to big shifts.

One of our clients is a perfect example of MVAs in action.

“Laura” is a business consultant with a small in-house team. They have a steady stream of clients and are amazing at what they do.

But the company’s website? Let’s just say it wasn’t doing them any favors.

Laura came to us knowing that they needed to change something, but was overwhelmed by how, or where, to start.

To reduce the overwhelm, we decided to take the MVA approach:

1: Rewrote their home page copy
2: Refined their services to be more benefit-driven (and less of a diner menu)
3: Eliminated anything that didn’t enhance credibility (even whole pages)

Addition by subtraction … with each small change creating forward momentum.

By the time we wrapped, Laura wasn’t just proud of her website — she felt re-energized about her entire business.

That’s the power of small steps done consistently. Whether it’s fitness or branding, momentum starts with showing up and making adjustments.

One MVA at a time.

Victory Points

On the surface, Sushi Go! Party looks light. Cute. Harmless. Adorable cartoon dumplings? What could possibly be at stake?

Everything.

Super easy to teach and learn, this fast-paced card-drafting game for up to 8 people serves up bite-sized decisions that build into a full-course strategy.

Each turn, you choose one card from your hand and pass the rest.

Do you go for that third sashimi now? … Block your neighbor’s wasabi combo? … Or sneak in a pudding for the endgame?

No single choice feels dramatic. But over time, your steady decisions — stacking tempura, pairing nigiri, chasing chopsticks — start to compound. And suddenly you’ve got a well-balanced feast while everyone else is staring down a lopsided tray of regrets.

That’s the beauty of Sushi Go! Party: it rewards consistency. Not brilliance. Not boldness. Just a stream of small, thoughtful moves that gradually add up to big scores.

It’s a perfect metaphor for business. Success rarely comes from one grand slam. It’s daily habits. Tiny optimizations. Dozens of small wins. The email you send. The call you return. The meeting you prep for. None of it flashy, but all of it critical.

Over three quick rounds, Sushi Go! Party teaches you that greatness isn’t built in a moment — it’s plated one bite at a time.

So go ahead. Pick the dumpling. Pass the hand. Make the next right move. Big results are coming.

Make it a great week! 🙌
